Hi everyone,

I want to share an important update on the game. I want to clarify first that I never officially announced a release date I kept thining of May as a rough target but I'm afraid I need to wait a little longer. Because I am using S&box the game’s standalone release is currently tied to a licensing process that, as stated for standalone, is expected to be handled through Valve. Until that is fully accepted and clarified I don’t want to keep pushing toward release as if everything is final when major parts of the project may still need to change. Because of that I am delaying the game. As part of this, I’ll be carrying out a major rework of the game, including the playermodels since they are probably going to not be allowed for standalone builds and other systems connected to them. I have also been working on updating the fluid simulation with a new system, and that will take additional time to properly optimize for multiplayer. Since I am a solo dev these changes take time, and I would rather take that time than rush something out in the wrong state. At this point the best case scenario for release is around Fall 2026. If I am able to release earlier than that, I’ll make another announcement as soon as I can. I also want to mention My Summer Cottage, which should release before my game and is a very interesting project worth checking out. From what I understand, it’s also part of the current standalone rollout/testing, so I’m interested to see how that goes. I know this is disappointing news, and I’m sorry for the delay. But I want to be transparent about where the project stands and make sure the game comes out in the best shape possible.
