Sluicebox grates

Hello-
I'm starting to get a tier three set-up going, and I'm not sure if I understand what to do with the sluicebox grates. The journal says to look for nuggets here.

I'm assuming I should occasionally search them for pieces of gold, like you do when you are panning (tier one)? Or do you automatically get credited for the gold which accumulates in these grates? Please let me know whether I'm on the right track here.

I think they're trying to tell you to add 4 grate on S-T sluicebox. Once you're done with clean up (when everything reached 99% or 100%), go to S-T sluicebox and press "3" on your keyboard to bring up small shovel and clean the grates.

And then get it to magnetite and then to wave.

Yes, I got the part about adding four grates to the S-T sluicebox. But I didn't realize that I should use a small shovel on the grates. Cool, I'll try that. Thanks.

And don't forget to put an empty bucket into the holder at the S-T sluice...

Actually I don't see a spot for a bucket at the S-T sluice...no, wait, I see it now; cool. Is that where you dump soil that you gather with the small shovel?

Yes, you put it into the bucket.

Edit: Sometimes the shovel won't interact with the outline / shadow at the bucket, then you have to move a bit.

OK, thanks. I assume then you dump this dirt in a wave table.

Yes, you can. Unless you have magnetite separator, dump it there first and then to wave table.
