OK so the depth is already displayed where your gold values are when you have drilled.
When you click a square you will get the results on the right in a vertical strip. if you look it will have a meter reading on the left and the oz of gold on the right.
Now going further, if you look at the colour of the verticle box you will see it changes with the amount of gold, brighter yellow for high gold and grey for very little, now.of you click toggle square and start digging in the highlighted square you will see that it changes colour, this colour is the same colour that is displayed in the verticle box.
Using this colour on the highlighted square you can work out your depth.
