less gold?
im using the derocker and the dumptruck to load dirt alot quick on the new plot they just added...but after my moss and buckets are full im only pulling in 16oz of gold which sucks for all the time spent digging and dumping!!!....which at the other plot with the older gear i use to pull in about 70oz in a full load...am i missing something here or did they make the game even more grindy then before

Use the Drill to test the ground as where you are digging there maybe very little or no gold, test for hotspots..

The new nighthawk claim has very low gold amounts on most of its ground, but extremely rich hot spots, so you have to either dig around and hope you find one, or use the drill to locate them. When you do find one it will pay off very well.

You need to get close to bedrock to hit those hotspots. Look at the depth scale on the gold map and you will see where the gold is located.

Night Hawk have it in rediculess 15 meter dept. To come down there whit the machin park is neraly imposible. I still best like Pine Cove and whit the mobil Washer, Tier 3 not give other then trouble and less gold.

Yep I finally got setup with a Tier 3 op on Nighthawk today and then started drilling in the cut where I intended to start digging and wow..yah..the gold amounts near the surface to middle compared to even Old Arnold were...very grey :)

Guess I will need to channel deep paths to get the good stuff. My first two runs 100% full mats/jig buckets grossed maybe 10oz of gold per run. I was a little dismayed to say the least.

I then slept till dawn for 5 days in a row and let my workers gross 70oz of gold each day to make up for lost time and gold :)

lol yep i just slepted and let the works do the job.. they made it completely not worth while to even dig on the new parcel it takes way longer to get to the bottom for the same amount of gold youd get on tier 3 on the 3 parcel with less work

If you want to see more gold than go to Pine Valley. There are dead squares as well but the hotspots do not have any kind of overburden. There is a huge hotspot next to the big wash plant.

Started new season 2 on Nighthawk and had 2 or 3 270+ OZ cleanups. You just need to use drill and dig to the depth as marked on the gold map. One square alone has 2000+ OZ listed in drill report but it's very deep, will wait until I have the conveyor diggers from DLC before attempting that area.

The drill is worth its weight in... gold. I'm really surprised they reduced the cost of it.

The cost was reduced to the random gold being added. Before that the gold was static and once someone mapped out all the gold areas any one could see for them selfs where it was, now the drill is a very important part to mining.
