Question About Hiring Helpers.
I keep getting messages on my screen about hiring some one that wants a job. So i went to the Pad in the tent and hired a helper and when I tried to put him to work It wouldn't let me use him and told me I had to have a second claim first. Is that correct or a glitch.

I would think if i had only one claim and the game doesn't allow me to use a hire to work unless I have two claims, one, it shouldn't allow me to hire anyone unless I actually have the second claim and it should keep spamming my screen instructing me that people want a job if i only have one claim and it's not going to allow me to use them even if i hire them.

Can the next update fix this. If we can't use a hirered person due to having only one claim it shouldn't allow you to hire anyone and it shouldn't keep spamming the screen to check out the people that want a job. I mean if i had a company and didn't need to hire some one I wouldn't be running an add and I wouldn't want to get phone calls.

Sounds like a glitch. I have three workers working for me and only have one claim. Workers can now work on claims that you are working on personally.

I have never seen a message like you describe. Have you tried fiddling with the worker assignment selectors after reloading a game?

Well i haven't tried hiring a worker sense the last update because I didn't see anything in the update news for the last update that indicated you could now hire a worker when you had one claim and have them work on that claim, didn't want to waste the money just to find out I can't use them again because I have only one claim.

Correct that is what I experienced, I have one claim, I hired a worker because I kept getting a message that people wanted to work for me. Upon doing so I tried to put them to work and I got a message I couldn't use them because I only have one claim, Has this changed on last update because I don't remember seeing it in the update news. So i spent the money to hire them, couldn't use them, paid them and then had to fire them.

They can do various jobs and make the work a little easier and you make more money in the long run.

It's older and the overseer was added meanwhile, also the workers gain 1% experience each day.
