buggiest game ive ever played

my first play through i got the large excavator and a mobile wash plant. i started needing workers so i went to sleep for a couple days. it tells me its winter put your stuff away so i go to do that and it destroys it all instantly, i go back on the save multiple times and its going day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4 every second untill it destroys my stuff again so that save is gone. i start a new one except this time i hack the game and give me unlimited money. i buy basically everything and finish making the tier 5 wash plant. i forgot to turn the truck off and it ran out of gas, so i walk all the way to the gas station with a jerry can and turns out right once i get back to the truck and refil it it crashes and now i got to make the trip again. not including all the tight spaces in the map that make the game impossible to not bug out, ive lost 4 shipments of stuff to bugs and 2 saves. the developers really did not give no frick about this game it is overly buggy its glitching constantly and theres no peace if you value time and effort this game will delete it. i have played 1000s of games and none can compare to how buggy this one is, it is not worth $20 id say 5 or free. this game has a genius concept but its too buggy to play.

Define "putting it away". Stuff that has repairable parts need to be either placed in the green hall or send over to the storage via transportation. That also includes the washplant parts, not just the machines. That's intended behavior though, as the game also warns you about it. Alternatively you can take all parts that can be damaged and store them in the shed.

As for the gas, if you're playing with the 1$ mode (or have cheated money), then simply port over to the shop, buy a buggy and a cas canister and drive back. You can also unlock the fast travel system while you're at it.

And overall i've rarely had any bugs and definitely had dozens of games that were way more unstable.

ive had a bug where i cant grab or even enter my truck without jumping and once something is the bed of my truck or trailer i cant grab it its still there but i cant grab it.

Honestly sounds like skill issues. The only thing out of OP's post that is even bug related is the crashing and that has always been extremely dependent on your hardware setup in combination with the various graphics settings.

P.S. I am pretty sure the game tells you how to protect your equipment for the winter so that is entirely on you.

I can pretty much understand the frustration. But its not only the Bugs that bothered me very often...Also the game itself...even this genre is pretty rare with games like this is totally trash.
First of all "Haines". A total ghost town. Sure its not that big in real life also but still..not a single npc there. Not even at the counter in the store or at the vehicle market.
Most of the textures look totally blurry or overstreched.
The Vehicle choice from back then till today...also a pain. I mean you now got 3 excavators + the mini one. So i am asking myself...why not also bigger loader? Or bigger dump trucks.
And when you drive around i always got those mini loading screens which never got fixed.
And when i am on the first claim and dig with the loader or excavator...suddenly the textures of the ground turn invisible and i can look through the claim...Also a bug which never got fixed and this one exists from the Release of the game.
Sometimes your vehicles get stuck by a little piece of dirt and all you can do is reset it. So stupid.

All of these issues are engine limitations. Including the "bug" with the terrain going invisible (often only occurs after the terrain is changed alot or very steep and altered and is fixed by saving and reloading). You cant just fix that stuff without changing the entire foundation of the game.

I get that you think you want NPC's in Haines but they would add nothing to the game aside from more stuff to load. It is not like you actually spend any amount of time in town and the game is about gold mining on your claim not walking around a town.

The Terrain bug exist since the game was released on steam back in 2017 and mentioned alot and the devs never cared....i think it was even early access back then..And i am pretty sure...and no i am not a developer myself but still i am sure there would have been a solution even for this problem. Not talking about save/reload.

And also whats the problem with having at least a few NPCs around the town..like a blacksmith, a person at the vehicle market, gas station and the equipment shop? Even when i am not there the whole time?
I mean this ingame town already looks like its a place from the Fallout universe. Which always made me wonder why?! Why does a cozy looking town like haines in real life look like an abandoned garbage dump ingame?

Don't feed the troll, he doesn't even own the game. And in the 2 h refung limit he can't play as much as he needs to play as he writes (several ingame days for example).

So he plays a cracked version which is bugged.
