Anyone have a guide to machine recovery efficiency?
Hello. I looked around and have not seen any place where it lists a comparative gold recovery rate for individual parts (e.g. Trommel vs Old Arnold's trommel vs best trommel). Has anyone done such a chart for the various wash plant parts?

First you might try to Search in Discussions "Wash Plant Efficiency" or other key word phases.

Second, I have built a Lab Save where I run tests on a known amount of pay dirt in 5 Dump trucks from two squares on OA, And noted gold potential amounts from the gold map squares, loaded 5 trucks and reviewed squares to see how much the gold potential was reduced. I have the data from each of the Tier levels, but I did not do individual pieces of equipment, Let me know if you want more info or specific tests done.
My search was for "machine efficiency" so it didn't bring up the "wash plant" search listings. :D I was debating what kind of improvement I could get and whether it was worth changing out the base trommel for the Arnold or just holding off until i got the advanced.

I found some notes from old discussions. I do not know how this was tested, Hope this helps you. And I know that workers assigned to WP equipment help improve these numbers.

So i finished testing out all the individual components.
The only thing i can't test yet is a full T5 but i'll do that as well when i can afford it.

Everything is expressed as a variance compared to a basic T3 setup.
Shaker to Derocker +18% yield;
Trommel to Old Arnold Trommel +7% yield (+10% in the moss mats and +10% in the duplex jig buckets +6% in hog pan mats);
Duplex jigs to Planters +9% yield (+30% in the planter buckets and +15% in the hog pan mats);
If you add up the numbers you get 34% which is the same number in the full T4 test meaning you don't get any wacky full T4 buff.

Shaker to Glacier Creek +35% yield (+48% sluicebox grates +31% moss mats +30% duplex jigs and +15% hog pan mats) which is higher than a full T4 in spite of being $100k cheaper;
Trommel to Reinforced Trommel +16% yield (+18% moss mats +18% duplex jigs and +9% hog pan mats);
Duplex jigs to Gravel Pumps +18% yield (+60% in the gravel pump buckets and +30% in the hog pan mats);
The yield increase for T5 parts is roughly double that of T4.
If you add up the T5 percentages you get a 65% yield increase compared to T3 putting it at about 33% efficiency (if T3 is 20%).
