unable to accept invite to discord server

hi, I've been getting back to GMS, after not playing for a few years. I want to have access again to look out for updates and teasers and about GMS2, and just for the general community. I was trying to join the discord server and i fear it's because i was banned years ago for probably doing something foolish, is there any way to appeal the ban for the discord server? i can't exactly contact anyone since i'm not able to access the server. My apologies if it's posted in the wrong subforum

Did you manage to get in discord?

No. I have not managed to accept the invite.
