How is the game performance now?

I tried this game years back, and it would lag and chop - And the devs would say there was no issue, so i refunded.

How is it now? Has it recived any performance patches?

i don't really see any performance issues for most parts. The only annoying thing is when you're driving to different areas then it loads the new area, which freezes the game for a moment, but i just accept it, since there's no real need to constantly drive around outside the mining areas.

Same boat as Maya-Neko. No real issues other than loading. On a PC running am 8700k / 3080 / 32GB Ram / 2TB M.2

After new "huge" update, the game lagging as it was but looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than ever. Don't bother to buy this crap again.

Really, it's depends on individual PC. For me, I'm running i7-13700k OC'ed, 64GB memory with RTX 2080Ti and it ran just same as I first played in 2017 (I was running on older system with 1080Ti). I have seen some of players with much higher spec than I do - had struggling with it.

Most of the time when I go different area, I get the pause with loading (adding environment when you reach certain area). But when you stayed in parcel and focus on digging, I get no lags or chop.

You need to keep in mind, you will have to reduce several certain settings, such as shadows, dirt particles, and wind, they are FPS killer.

well yeah, but even with mit 3080 and i9 12900k clocked to 5 ghz it runs not stable and there are a lot of graphic bugs. Does not look nice at all now

Also disabling bloom and enable or disable GPU culling (only accessible from options in main menu, not in game) should help additionally.

Witcher 3 is also a different type of game and uses a completely different game engine.

To my understanding, the old devs used the cheap old engine which is very limited on many things ingame including game engine. There's nothing we can do about it and play what we can with this game.

Since the last update, I have put my magnetite separator next to the tent on the river and when I go there in certain places, the stream disappears in the background or the displays above it or even the stream and everything behind it and is then yellow. I upgraded my pc and now Windows 11 on it and an Nvidia 3050 with 6 GB graphics card inside. At the gas station, the car suddenly disappears, depending on how you stand.

Seit dem letzten update habe ich neben dem Zelt am Fluss meinen magnetitabscheider hin gestellt und wenn ich an hin gehe in bestimmten stellen verschwindet im Hintergrund der Bach oder die anzeigen drüber oder sogar der Bach und alles dahinter und ist dann gelb.Habe meinen pc aufgerüstet und jetzt Windows 11 drauf und eine Nvidia 3050 mit 6 GB Grafikkarte drinnen.Bei der Tankstelle verschwindet auf einmal das Auto je nachdem wie man steht.

You might try to reduce some of your graphics settings, and not play on Ultra, or max settings. (Esp. turn them down if the trees move like they are in a tornado) Just play around with the settings till you find a decent FPS. Game is eight years old.....

My rig handled the game perfectly besides the map loading issue when driving to town that everyone else has.

Unfortunately my power supply went out and I am too poor to afford to fix it. :(

The loading between zones is an engine problem as the game was made in a very old unity version(around 2015-2017). The game also has some trouble dealing with newer hardware which I assume is also due to the engine the game runs on. The graphics are ok and the game is fun.
