returning a rental?

OK So I have been renting a drill while I got going and now have enough to buy one.

I thought that buying one it would merely update the rental to an owned one but nope now I have 2 drills.

hen I put one on the return pad it's saying I will sell it for 35000 which makes no sense being it's a rental I don't own it so why would I be getting any cash back on it?

So now I have 2 drills still ho so I end the rental one being it looks like it might be trying to sell the one I just bought rather then returning the rental??

That's already the right step, though it seems you've put the one on the return pad you're owning yourself, which is why got the 35k offer.

Try to put the other drill on the return pad and it should show 0 $, indicating that it's rented and selling this one will return it and therefore stop the rent payments..

OK I managed to get them swapped around problem was when I transfer the first time after buying I swapped the wrong one by mistake so I had both in storage and sadly the game does not tell you which is the rented and which is the owned so it cost me some cash to get the right one in the right spot but finally got the right one on the pad which sold for zero 0
