Also excavators like we have in the game don't have gears, they drive with hydrostatic motors and the main engine only drives the hydraulic pump.
The only vehicle which has enough power is the dump truck.
Where's the reason for them to be incapable to take a 2 % slope without loosing 95 % of their power output? That would instantly make them unusable for the job they're designed for, especially in real life.
Like nobody expects them to climb without losing speed, but currently it's like you're hitting a slope and then just hold the button for 20 seconds, until you've driven 20cm further and suddenly get full power again out of nowhere.
