Easy, enable $1 mode, your not going to get the devs to do ♥♥♥♥. they have basically abandoned the game and only do the "seasons"

If you can't play that game without cheats then you should stick to clicker games.

The money and gold cheats were in the game in very early versions for not having too much negative effects if one machine bugs out and you had to buy a new one. Since those bugs were fixed there was no need for those cheats.
Instead of that the 1$ mode was implemented (especially for trying things out) but you can use it only in easy difficulty.

In a way it's not that unreasonable a request though... I can see somebody wanting to start a playthrough at T3 (to bypass the tedium of T1 & T2) but with the gold yield only of hard mode - which you will not get in $1 mode. (You can move from hard to normal to $1 modes but not in the reverse sense, so that doesn't solve it). After all, the Hoffmans did not show up on the claim with just shovels and hogpans.
