i want gold rush the game, not gold mining simulator

i just noticed the update. i haven't had time to get into the game to see just how bad the damage is, but i want GOLD RUSH THE GAME and not GOLD MINING SIMULATOR. if the change is as bad as i think it is, i want my money back, and i am NOT overreacting. I am making a few assumptions, as i haven't had a chance to check past the main menu, but i object to the removal of content on moral grounds. i payed for gold rush, not gold mine simulator. is there a way to get the discovery channel stuff back into the game? if not, i demand my money back.

quick question. i do not play seasons. i just play single player normal mode from time to time. Has there been a single improvement to the game? cuz i haven't seen a single thing added to the non-seasons part part of the game in a long time (outside of bug fixes and stuff). the updates i've seen are all for when you play seasons.

They didn't have a choice about changing the name Discovery demanded too much money according to devs. They added a buggy lol They are adding mini machines hehe Personally I think they should have re branded and moved on and started a new game.

im perfectly fine with the change.
if you wanna get mad at someone, get mad at discovery. not the devs. the reason for the change was because discover stopped making the gold rush show, and they told the devs of gold rush: the game (now gold mining simulator) that they had to change the name and remove all stuff relating to the show.

Right now all it is is a name change and some menu changes. Other than that, its the same game.

i bought Gold Rush the Game. i did NOT rent it. the word BUY and Purchase mean something. i don't give a flying fig if its legal, or "just the way it is." its RONG, R O N G Rong. if anyone knows how to roll the game back to before they removed the discovery branding, i would love to hear it.

Even then, I have an entire collection of games that I struggle to play because hardware and systems change. I really need to build that beater so I can go back to the glorious days of WinXp and play games that were actually written to be fun rather than political statements from woke morons.

Haven't been following anything or even researching the recent changes about this game since I gave up on it long ago and will probably never touch it again, but I think the change in name is so they can have a gold mining sim 2. I bet they didn't want to pay the big $$ for the gold rush name anymore and it would be hard to have a 2nd game with a totally different name. I think there is a hint to a 2nd game in the announcement, but I could just be looking into things more than usual lol.

As for getting your money back, good luck since all that will be changed is the name. Now if the gameplay turned into something totally different like an FPS or MMORPG you MIGHT have a chance

On their X page, a dev also hints at GMS2 with multiplayer. They obviously want to try and milk this for a little longer first.

Personally I had my monies worth many years ago, if they enhance the current game with new meaningful content, great, if not, so be it.

I already have and enjoyed on PS4 but now restarting on PS5 my old save was still there but everything is now priced $1 so its worth a redux the only annoying thing so far is the constant noise of the largest plant machinery when we don't own it yet but apart from that i'm happy, just stop the noise please Dev's

Personally I think they should have went a little more creative with the name. I liked the "We'll See You In Alaska" tag line in the announcement.
