Can't drive the pick up

Anyone else having a issue with not being able to drive the pick up? You can get in start it up and move off but it only goes forward a lil bit and slightly to the right, can't use it at all. And the stuff I have taken out of the bed is following the truck on the floor!! Cheers

try reloading your save game. I had an issue where things i put in the back would float and fall out. Once I reloaded the save game it worked.

im having the same issue with the truck and a few new bugs (Restarting Client Works) the truck issue consists of items flying off the bed a lot more then normal and starting up the truck makes items on the truckbed teleport on the ground underneath, and when you place items from the truck its still connected with the truck somehow so the items you placed on the ground moves with the truck as you speed up and ofc you cant drive anywhere cause it collides with the ground..... hope it gets fixed fast.... and yes i saw an update a day ago ?

mine is completly broken too... restarting work....few seconds...then bugs are there am in flyin' pick up.... Quite unplayable

The issues I'm having include cables and hoses falling right through the truck, things bouncing out when I get into the truck (and the large trailer). The second run to town was mostly successful after trying all the things suggested in this post, one cable disappeared on me. My third trip to town all these issues came up again with an additional one, my truck glides and drifts (very little distance is covered) and even does bumper stands (stands up on its front or back bumper) then snaps back the the restart position. To try and continue my game I ran back to my claim with the one wire I was missing from second trip to town, leaving the truck and the lights one the road in town. Upon arriving at my claim I discovered that my generator was gone, I know it was there cause I remember putting fuel in it.

Through out these issues I've restarted a new game, reloaded the saves many times, verified the game files and uninstalled/reinstalled the game.

It was working fine yesterday and I've been enjoying playing this game. Please, please, please fix it.

I'm having the same problem. Loaded in tonight and all the items in my truck which include several buckets, electrical cables and a few other items, disappeared, and reappeared behind the equipment shed, but now when I drive forward, it's like I hit a wall. I back up and hit another wall, and the pickup truck is essentially unusable. Reloading the save doesn't fix the issue, nor does restarting the game. This really sucks massive a$$ since this is my main save for my let's play series.

Loading the most recent auto-save didn't have the same bug, so I'll lose a few minutes time but at least the pickup seems to be working. Since my truck was in town at the time, I'll have to drive back to Old Arnolds and see if it starts bugging out again.

Oh that sucks, I watched your video today while dealing with my issues and thought "well at least you're still able to play. So I can watch you"

Well, my most recent episode will highlight one of the bugs I've encountered. Seems to be items sharing location or position data with the pickup truck. I also noticed that items were falling through the bed of the pickup, but didn't have that happen until after I had recorded my episode. I just hope they fix it quickly as this is incredibly annoying.

This is all related to the same bug discussed in multiple threads now.
Saving and reloading the game each time you want to put stuff in the truck or out of the truck is the only solution.

1) Load the truck
2) Save and reload
3) Climb into the truck and drive where you want to unload
4) Unload the truck
5) Save and reload
6) Hopefully you can now drive the truck

The truck is not good right now, I am having issues using the fuel tank with the truck, if you backup with the fuel tank attached it will mess up the driving of the truck, and you can do the same steps in post #11. I will wait until the devs figure this out before I play again.

My pick up won't drive at all, tried saving reloading etc just falls over and resets itself. Game totally unplayable now, I give up.

Having the same issues. Sry i didnt read the full post.
When i transport somsing else then buckets in my trunk it gets stuck on those items, after unloading. safing an relaoding helps sometimes or selling the item it got stuck on.

the items move with the truck after unloading, on the ground or even from shealves
