so the keyboard controls are some of the worst ive ever played with after a long line of simulators, never had a game make me fight to control something before..., someone said a controller made it massively easier but i dont use one, however i rebinded the controls for the excavator bucket to the keyboard keypad and its made my world sooo much easier, a tip for some of the newbies out there like me :)

First person I use Keys.
All Machines I use a Xbox 1 controller. The 2 sticks help so much.

Indeed, if you can get your hands on a controller it becomes much, much easier. The only time I use keyboard/mouse is when I need more precision over a decent amount of time, such as a clean out since I'm constantly pushing little buttons like the start/stop buttons on the magnetite separator, nuggetator, etc.

It should be no problem. And you can configurate the buttons (almost) like you want.

Just in case someone is wandering about looking for the answer -

When in Settings, Keyboard... there are _several__screens_ for different setups, like walking, driving, excavating... Didn't notice it at first myself, caused me a world of grief.
