Old Arnold Tier 3 Washplant help needed
ok So I got a bunch of gold today drilling and opted to just go ahead and get this all set up and I have everything I think in place except this one box

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2476302419

Now I was watching a video on how to set all this up and one thing I noticed is the guy doing it he has what looks like support ramps that this one box rests on but as you can see I do not have these. Were these removed as his video is 2017 or is there some part or repair i am missing so I can place this last part in place

That think goes at the exit the shaker.
Edit: On the second picture, that is the location for the conveyor belt, at the other side of the shaker, goes that box. The "in" part goes watching the shaker.

I think the set up was changed as the 2017 video shows it on top and no conveyor so they must have changed the set up since that video came out. I did see another that had the conveyor and hopper and such from last year and totally different set up

The setup is diffrent on each site. Make sure to compare old arnold to old arnold. convoyer and hopper are optional , but needed to use the dumper. Also the long one you showed goes below the wide slide for the big rocks, so its easier to mount when the other thingy is not there.

I already have that one in place I thought from the video that I needed 2 but as I said the video was old from 2017 if you scroll forward to 19 minutes in you will see he places this bit where I was trying to put it but as I said from the looks of things they changed how it is set up and such after this video was done.

OK so I got the entire thing set up and working and got some gold from my mats and such but under the mat boxes there are two buckets under each box. What do I do with these are they seem to just capture water. Is there something I am missing in regards to these 4 buckets?

Duplex Jigs? There be gold in those.

1 bucket from the sluice box grates
2 from each jig
6 moss mats per jig
4 mats per hog pan

Buckets go straight into the magnetite separator, then onto the wave table.

Mats get washed in the nugget-thingie, bucket then magnet>wave.

Ok I think I am missing something. Lets go through this.

OK so I have two jigs

In each jig there is 6 mats, 3 grates and underneath 2 buckets.

Is that the right set up or did I miss something.

The mats go into the nuggetor, then the mag then the wash table.

The 4 buckets they go directly into the mag then into the wash table. Should it look like water when you are pouring these are mine looks like plain water and the one bucket I seemed to get nothing out of it when I dumped it into the mag machine. None of the %'s seemed to change when I poured it into the mag machine.

You also said 1 bucket on the grates. You talking the metal meshing that goes on top of the moss if so I could not find a spot to put a bucket besides the 2 slots under the jigs.

And when you mention Hog is the connected with the wash plant or just additional info as I thought I was long pass the hog or are you referring to a different hog pan?

Sorry this is all new territory for me never had the tier 3 wash plant fully set up so never was able to use it until now.

Sounds like the buckets are full of water, you need dry, empty buckets with no hose attached to them. It should look like paydirt.

Bucket i was talking about is used to clear under the 4 big grates on the sluicebox prior to the trommel.

Tier 3 is this:

Shaker water and power connection
Sluicebox (S-T) this has a bucket slot and 4 big grates which are swept out into the bucket when full.
Sluicebox (S) dumps rocks on the ground, kinda useless
Trommel power connection
2x T-DJ sluice boxes under trommel, 6 moss and 3 grates each
2x Duplex Jig 2 buckets under each for paydirt, power connection
2x hog pan assemblys. Water fed box, top and bottom trays and 4x mats each

OK i'll have to recheck things again I have it working to some degree but seems I might be missing a few buckets and or hog gear. I have one hog set up but can buy a second one easy enough. I'll test it out after lunch
OK managed to mess with it a few before lunch. And yeah I think a few buckets still had water in them as 3 of the 4 buckets dumped water but when I did the next batch 2 were pay dirt and 2 were water that I had yet to drain but are drained now so should be good!

You mentioned buckets prior to the trommel. I carried a bucket around the machines and did not see any more bucket spots before or after the trommel. After lunch will try and take a few screen shots and post them.

Oh and I had the pump hogs so I assume I hook up water like normal? As that is how I set them up.

OK so I was missing the grates in a way I had 1 but didn't know where to use it so I have that in place now will buy the other 3 after this run. After this batch finishes will take a look at the grate closer just waiting on the batch to finish now.
OK had time to mess with this a bit and got most of it figured out except that bit above the trommel that has the 4 grates in it. I see from the first screen shot there is stuff piling up there and I can also see if by looking at the grates

Then not sure if this is on purpose or somethings wrong but there are 3 bucket holders on the left side but only one can hold a bucket.

Lastly I have yet to figure out how to clean this area out and does that them go into the Mag machine or Wave Table or...???

There are multiple bucket holders on the side of that sluice but you only have access to 1 in the beginning. You need a worker assigned to it to get more & they auto swap them when full.

You clean them out by using the small shovel, Number 3 on your tool-belt and you put it in the bucket at the side of the box, then it goes in the Mag machine, then the Wave Table.

You should see a big improvement to both Magnetite & Gold recovery from a proper cleanout of that Sluice box.
