Hog Pan Sluicebox Core Mat Holders On The Side?

When targeting the core it shows in the outline that extra mats can be stored in the rings on the sides of it but i cant seem to get them to go in there, any info?

You need a worker on the sluice who changes the mats for using the holders.

Does it show the mats in the holders after they do it?

After assigning the correct worker to the sluice the holders are unlocked (amount depends on worker skill) and you can place clean mats into them. If the mats on the sluice are full the worker changes them and you see a message. In the holders are now the full ones, you can take them off the holders and clean them.

Same with the sluice on T3+ (2x sluice T-DJ), you save more time because you don't need to pick up the grates. But remember, hogpan sluice and sluice T-DJ have different mats and workers but you can place the hogpan setup (with hose connector) behind each dupley jig so you can use them later.

Ok, thanks for the info. I take it the first worker for the hog pan must not have the skill then?

I just got the worker and even after tearing down the other 2 hog pan setups at the wash plant it shows 3 options for sluicebox assignment, how the hell am i supposed to know which one to assign him to so that he will change the mats on the one across the stream lol
