Electric small water pump
Hey,
more pumps incoming!

https://youtu.be/SmCxSF8boRg

Along the big gasoline-fueled water pump we're gonna implement two more eco-friendly electric pumps.
In the video you can see the smaller version :) Bigger one will wait for the release.

Best observants will notice the prototype version of our new pressure and electric system :) It needs some more work, but it's already useful.

Cheers,
Michał

I am all for more options in the game, but I am unsure why this one in particular is valuable. It looks as if you still have to run the gas generator to the right to power the small electric water pump so wouldn't a gas water pump make more sense or at least be the same there?

with a electric pump you can control everything from 1 place aka the big power generator ;) but ofc you can still use a small generator if you prefer that.

Ok, mind giving an example there? Do you mean you could have 2-3 electric small water pumps chained off 1 gas generator?

probably, but I was more thinking the following: atm you have your generator and your pumps. more than likely you generator is close to your washplant and the pumps close to the water. so you have to walk all the way to the generator then all the way to the pumps just to get going. when you have an electric pump attached to you generator everything, so both power and water can be turned on by turning on the big generator

Ah okay. I guess I'd have to see it to know how that'd work in the end. I know in Tier 2, I had a setup kinda like that, but the gas generator only has 1 electric cord port. It would be nice if it had more or if there was an adapter from big to small electric cords to be able to have multiple electric pumps run off the main gas generator. That would then result in the desired effect of multiple water pumps down a row that can be turned off/on by one gas generator.

Obviously I haven't used it then to know that. :) Thanks, keep up the good work, very fun game and am hoping to see lots of bugs fixed this patch 3/29 too!

yea just go in the shop and find the power splitter ;)

Why are there batteries on top of the pump? It runs on AC and not on batteries.

Well if you look closely the last seconds you see the Powericon on top is not full lit as usual or partly lit. So that thing is chargeable......
