That's sad. Gold Rush will not be the same without Todd Hoffman and his team. I will miss him and especially his father and I wish him and his men all the best and good luck for the future.

I had a feeling this would be the announcement they've been teasing for a few weeks. If there's going to be a new operation on the show next year it would be cool to have Dave back! Not sure what he's doing now.

On "Gold Rush: Live," Hoffman came out toward the end of the episode, to announce that he, his father, Jack, son Hunter, and "Team Hoffman" weren't coming back for a new season of "Gold Rush."


Hoffman has previously mentioned possible projects for the company, including a reality series that takes greenhorns and gives them the opportunity to learn about mining gold.

He is also doing a new series call MEAT
