ps4 controller will not work

i am running the current patch 1.4.3.9322 i can get the game to reconise the controller but it will not do what the controls are set to i know it cant be the game install as my g27 works i have also resintly reinstalled steam to get it to update if you know how to fix i would appreciat it

yes i have tryed with other games and it was working correctaly

This is what I do to connect ps4 controller to Gold rush. Start your pc and do NOT have controller connected. When you start steam then you connect controller via cabel. Go in settings and check If steam is connected to controller. Then you open gold rush via exe. Dont start gold rush on steam But via exe. When you are in the menu on gold rush where you can load a game your controller has a blue light or another Color. If not then Unplug the cable from controller end plug in again. Start your game and If the controller is still not working then Unplug and plug in again when you are in game. This works for me. If I open gold rush via steam it sometimes dont work. If Nothing off this works then cry.. it helps. ☺ then start over again.

Go to
Steam > Settings > Controller > General > make sure the config box is UNTICKED / blank. Start game and see if it works. At least that was the solution for myself.

the controller will work in the main menue but when i get in to game it will not work at all i have tryed both of your methods and still no luck

i am gunna try to completly remove the game and see if i can get it to work it is the only thing left to try

well completsly removing the game and reinstalling it did not work when in game it will not reconise the controller

Are you using a cabel to your ps4 controller? Windows 10?

windows 10 yes and it is pluged in to my pc viea cable

Sorry. Now I cant get my controller to work.. there is a lot of bugs after last patch. Maby they fix this to.

i use xbox 1 controller but i thought i would try and use the ps4 to test for you guys, sorry to say i had no problems with it at all

what are the settings for the controller ?

in game settings under contorller are all set to custom

Steam settings only thing ticked is guide button focuses steam

Have you updated your firmware?

firmware is up to date and my settings are the same as your's hum i wonder why some of us are having problems
