cant smelt gold
Im following the tutorial and now Im at the blacksmith.
I have to smelt the gold I collect from the river but it wont let me smelt.

I have money to pay him ..

I collected 2.2g of gold, is the to little to smelt ?
Should I collect more gold ?

I can sell the gold to him but the tutorial says to smelt...

You need money to smelt. If you have none, sell a small amount to get money to SMELT

Note I have not done the tutorial but this works in game.

you also need magnetite ore to smelt the gold.

That's false. The magnetite is for upgrading the blacksmith or to sell. You don't need magnetite for smelting gold.

Hi guys , I appreciate your help..

I decided to re-do the tutorial and see if that would allow me to smelt , and it did..

Maybe there was a bug the original time ?

It's all good now though as it worked the second time...

Same thing happened to me. A little annoying as it was about an hour into the tutorial.

I decided to do some experimenting and found that you need a minimum amount of gold to smelt into a bar. The first time I had 1.8g and it wouldn't let me. Second time I had 3.7g and it would, so the threshold is somewhere in there. 2g maybe?

I had the same problem. Originally had 2.6g when attempting the blacksmith portion of the tutorial. Option to smelt was there just couldn't click it. I had plenty of money as he was only charging me $10 and I had over $300. Left and did another pass at collecting gold. I returned with 4.2g and had no problems smelting. Seems like there is a minimum but its not acknowledged in the tutorial.
