Has the Front End Loader been fixed?

Hey. Just as the title asks. I recently started playing the game again. Saved up enough to feel comfortable getting a loan and getting the last bits and pieces I needed for the tier 3 setup. My first clean up was great. Pulled in 150oz in 20 buckets while getting to grips with the controls of the loader and working out how I'm going to dig at the dirt. Now. I've got the controls down pretty solid and have been moving dirt back and forth from the large hole I've started right next to the wash plant and already cleared out about half way to where it the dig area turns around the mining village on the hill.

But what I'm seeing now is more like 60-80oz per clean up. I've been stripping the dirt right off the bedrock cause it's easy to drive the wheel loader I found that way versus trying to wrestle the thing over little bumps. (see that vehicle horse power is still severly lacking.)

I did some digging around and found a thread where a mod was saying that if you dig from the bottom you get way less gold and I'm seeing that as that first wash came from me wrestling on top of the soil with the front end loader. It seems to me that it's still broken. And am going to test to see what happens if I go in at the side of the wall I've created and that has any impact on how much gold I get. But I'm just curious if in the past year the wheel loader has been patched or not.

The problem hasn't been fixed.

Technically the problem isn't with the loader, but with the way gold falls out of any soil that is pushed or drops.

Imagine your claim is a stack of pancakes.

If you mine the top pancake first, then the 2nd, then the 3rd, etc... until you get to the bottom pancake you get all the gold.

If you mine the bottom pancake first all the pancakes above it drop a level and the gold in those pancakes disappears (or much of it does.)

So, I think if you could mine from the top with the Loader you'd be fine, but that is hard to do.

I just started playing and am wondering how activeily they are still fixing bugs and adding content. I really like the game but certainly hope there is more to come.

Yeah i love this game too but at the moment front loader is totally usless. I tried to dig the same zone in each way (up-down and down-up) and the result is a gold loss in the second round. I suggest to drill each zone and use excavator from upper part of the dirt. If you want to clear totally each zone, even if that zone had lesser golds in it, i suggest to use excavator from top until you reach the machine limit, then use front loader from the bottom. In this way you never loose golds but you waste more time also.
