Front end loader or big excavtor?
Since its only about 20k extra for the loader. my question is which would be more beneficial when used in conjuction with 2 mobile wash plants?

in my opinion you cant afford hte fuel to drive around with a loader - you want the bigger excavator for more dirt per minute into the washplant - but im not sure i understand 2 mobile washplants?

i seen a video where they were using the front end loader to load paydirt into 2 wash plants that were side by side. same for the big excavator. i just wasnt sure which one was better.

the videos were older and the game mechanics may have been tweaked since then too.

The big excavator will fill up the MWP to 100% quickly then you have to wait for it to go down a bit before adding more dirt so as not to waste any. With two MWP's you can't keep them both full but you can keep them both procesing dirt and no time wasted waiting to add more dirt. So the time that would have been spent waiting is used for extra production. I don't think you can mine with the front end loader without destroying gold due to the way the game aggregates gold in dirt.

If you mine from the bottom of the pile, gold is lost. Loader really only scoops from the bottom, so it's not a good option.

Thanks and can also confirm this. i ended up just trying both because no one had responded yet.
