I have never had the shovel "auto dig". I am currious if you have a mouse with macros, or some such system on your keyboard?? I personally have a Corsair mouse that I have set up a macro for the drilling rig. It sets the brake, drops the drill, raises the drill, then releases the brake & nudges dozer forward (which is my signal to move again). All the "spaces" between commands are reduced to the bare minimum to greatly reduce the time it takes to drill test holes.
So I am currious if you have some setting that repeats the LMB, a couple times, which is what is causing your shovel to "auto dig"?
You were very warm there... As it turns out, although I thought I had set all the controls to default somehow the Walking control for Action was set to 'right mouse movement' (the default is 'E'). So every time I dumped a shovel then moved my mouse to the right to turn around it would try and shovel again.
Thanks to all for responding.
