Tier 3 Machines/Parts needed?(What Sluiceboxes?)

I'm trying to set-up Tier 3 here, and I know I need the Shaker, the Trommel, the Big Power Generator, Two duplex Jigs, Miner's moss, Miner's grilles, the Small Water Pump, and all the necessary cables, but which sluiceboxes do I need?

Digtube tells me to buy 5 different sluiceboxes, but there are only 3 to choose from at Heavy Mining Equipment shop, and the journal doesn't specify which ones I need either, just tiny icons I can't differentiate from.

When all else fails order 2 of each then send the extra over to the next claim sure you bought it if your messing around on the dollar mode just make sure to install the long sluice going to trommel first can be a pain to get it in if you install shaker sluice first

edit : short one for shaker long one for trommel and 2 sluices for the jigs no idea where the 5th one comes intoplay and dont forget the double hogs below jigs

You need:

-1 S-T sluicebox
-2 T-DJ sluicebox (1 extra since there's 2 sides)
- Not sure about the name, but its the large one and short. Same place you get the other 2

From the store (equipement)

-2 Hog pan sluicebox core (beginner stuff)
-2 Hog pan sluicebox extension (also beginner stuff)

I know it add to 8, but the doubles are for the last part. Start with 1 of each and double it as you go.

One more question though what's that wooden set-up in front of the S-T sluicebox? Not where the trommel goes, it faces towards the rest of the claim.

Those are for the hog pan sluicebox, beginner stuff.

So you can have two hog pans after the duplex jigs and then another hog pan up there?

Oh, that one is the one I dont remember the name, the large and short one

That one takes the rocks that are sorted out of the crusher & dumps them to the ground.

Note: the naming of the chutes will assist in proper placement of the items.

• S-T Sluicebox = "Sluicebox to Trommel
  
• T-DJ Sluicebox = Trommel to Duplex Jig
  
• S Rocks Sluice = Shaker to Rocks Sluice (ie..dumps on ground)

Oh, interesting I never would of guessed what those letters were for. Ok so what is the purpose of removing the rocks that come out of the shaker? Does it help prevent breakage in the trommel or something?

Also can I dip all the miner's mosses and hog pan mats into one bucket and process in the magnetite separator then wave table? I guess it'll probably prompt me to use another bucket if there's a limit to how much I can put into one or something right?


Last question: The duplex jigs, the two buckets underneath, is one magnetite and the other gold or both gold?

You should pass all the mosses into a nuggator once you can afford it. As for all in one bucket, you can alway try.

Duplex jigs have 2 buckets yes, you need to process them both in the magnetite first, than the wave table.
