Overburden

are the results you get from the mining drill accurate?...is there actually overburden on the claims?..I have searched for answers on this and have seen conflicting info
Does using the bulldozer to clear the overburden displayed from the mining results, actually get you to the pay dirt?

Yes for me it did. After bulldozing 3 to 6m of 3g dirt the selected square (gold map) went from gray to gold and the depth of the gold was now near the surface in the cross section.

Yes it is accurate as you push the dirt and make a cut,you can reopen the gold map an see it change.on OA there is not much over burden.on pine valley i pushed of alot from 2-6m or so.
And now on night hawk its really deep.and i see only a very small drop in gold amount after making a cut,as in say a square that had 950oz's b4 lost maybe 20-30oz's after cut.25oz's lost to remove 6m dirt is well worth it to me.

What am I doing wrong? I excavated a square that the mining drill showed to contained 307 0z. of gold, but it only yielded 54 oz

there is only about a meter of dirt left at the bottom of the square,the mining drill results showed the first 3-4 meters and the last meter, to have the least amount of gold.Can someone please explain what i am doing wrong, to get 54 oz from a square that the mining results showed to contain 307 oz

ok so if theres is still a meter of pay dirt then gold is still in there.not always but alot of the time that last meter has the highest amount of gold in it.,so you gotta dig to bedrock,Secondly i see you are using the t2,it will only get you around 20% gold recovery on normal,and 7% on hard mode.to get 80-90% of the gold you'll need a full t5 washplant setup on normal mode.
The whole point of having more tiers is to make you upgrade you washplant to get better gold recovery.The t2 is for starting out with,get enough to setup at t3 basic plant then add to it as you make more money.

Thank you so much for all the info. that makes sense...alot of my gold is being lost in the wash process..because the mobile washer is not effiecient. I am working on getting all the equipment for t3 wash process
