Refund for lost things?
My truck is constantly warping into invisible walls that destroy all four tires instantly and send everything in the truck flying. Do I get the money for the stuff in my trunk, or am I just♥♥♥♥♥♥out of luck now? Also, how is it that you can't properly program this sort of thing? Like, the coding for stuff like this was perfected in the early early 1980's, how are your programmers unable to make stuff work properly?

Edit: Also constantly get stuck on random things that that make me unable to move, forcing me to load a previous save point. I've had the game a day now, and have had to restart 5 times now because I can't afford ♥♥♥♥ because it keeps disappearing. If it happens again, I;ll be demanding a refund, regardless of Steam's refund policy.

Have you by chance downloaded any mods from the workshop?

edit: may also be that your copmuter is not up to par for the game

I didn't even realize there was workshop content for it, and my computer exceeds the suggested specs for it.

had two windows open here messed up on games but after last little update mines been jittery as ole get up worse once i power up everything if im away from all the equipment then im good to go so think the games finally catching up to this system for myself anyway. there was an earlier post about this stuff before just hope someone else can remember what was done to fix the issue may have to lower game settings a bit and fiddle with it till its running smooth for you. Also a game log will show whats eating up resources on your computer and causing game to go inot panic mode lol remember one guy running youtube and that was messing up his game.

My game is running smoothly, it's getting stuck on invisible walls, my pickup launching into space, and losing a ton of stuff I had in its bed that is the issue, as well as clipping into objects that force me to be incapable of moving.

There is no workshop for this game lol and i havent encountered any invisible walls or getting stuck where i was trapped. Weird, but funny to read..

he is correct if you use the restore option form the map. I find in most cases all the stuff in your truck bed will stay floating in the air at the original position. Or you pick up a water sprayer and all the stuff that was near it will fly all over the place and you lose your fuses and teeth and so on. Worse case for me was not be able to find my Jack. It got flung into some place and i could not find it when i needed it most.

I placed my generator and it just touched my mobile wash plant, then the wash plant did a triple flip and bounced away like an inflated version.

if you place a bunch of buckets face up tight together then pull out the center one all the other will fly away..

the gravity seems ok but then in some cases it totally erratic and needs lots of work i think.

getting stuck with my small digger just trying to get over a small lump of dirt.. really?

the game is so frustrating to play at times. I dont know why i am still playing it

If you get stuck then go onto the map, click the truck and press reset.
Btw I know it might be fun to drive all over the place at max speed, but slowing down when doing a corner does wonders ;)

I rarely ever go fast, this game isn't exactly optimized for vehicular gameplay. Most of the time I find myself skirting too close to a rock or tree, because the turning radius isn't all that intuitive or consistent, or the game will freeze for a second while things load, and move the truck over just enough pixels I end up crashing into something.

Other than that, I didn't see the reset button, that'll be useful. Still, the collision boxes for items should be a lot smaller, because I think having more than one item in your truckbed is causing the exploding entities problem.

A tiny mound of dirt that is about one quarter the height of a bucket should not instantly stop my tracked vehicles, or destroy any wheels on my pickup. The trees, shrubbery, and small rocks that are purely for scenic purposes should not have any collision boxes at all, I should be able to just walk through/over them, like in real life. Jumping onto objects of any kind shouldn't freeze my character in the air, especially things like the hatch for your pickup, or trailers.

I agree, that there is too many things that will stop you "...on a dime!". It is espeicially jarring to the immersion of the game to be stopped so suddenly. And especially stopping suddenly up in the air while trying to jump over something such as a branch.

I also question why cannot our player walk over sections of the map that are adjacient to other sections of the map. Such as Old Arnold's Mine site being right next to the town, but you have to take the "long way around. Granted you should not be able to drive a vehicle through such parts of the map, but why not allow players to walk through such areas?

This is the Alaskan wilderness in a town with double digit residents, we shouldn't only be allowed to drive through the bush, we should be expected to cut down trees and blaze proper trails. This is Gold Rush: The Game, where the very first episode, Todd Hoffman said ♥♥♥♥ you to an Alaskan state bridge and waded in excavator through the river toget to the other side, with a complete disregard for any potential negative environmental impact. In another season, they clear cut Alaskan State forestry surrounding their parcel to light an illegal fire, just so they could thaw a strip of land to get one last dig out of the way, after the legal mining season had ended.

And damnit, let me shoot a bear or something, this is Alaska after all.
