Electric water pump broken

Hi all,

I've just got this game and enjoying it so far. I have managed to get my first mobile washplant set-up but instead of getting the small water pump i chose the small electric water pump.

For some reason, everytime i turn the pump on there are sparks coming from the top and the top section looks broken. I don't have the machine failures enabled and am struggling to see the reason for it not to work.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

its not broken huge sparks from the electric water pump is normal... ROFL. It is probably working if you have it set up correctly. filter on a red hose, filter end goes into the creek and the other end goes into the IN port on the pump, then the out comes from the other port. Make sure you have the generator turned on and plugged into the pump and also there is a switch on the pump itself you need to turn on for it to work. Once you have that on though, you can turn the pump on and off by turning the generator on and off.(so you don't have to walk over by the creek to turn your pump off). If its working you should see the indicator that looks like a water drop on top of the thing you have the hose connected to (like the wave table, hog pan pump,etc) should change color to indicate whether or not its recieveing water.

Thanks for your help. I realised that the only thing not working was the wave table, the hose glitched and wasnt actualy connected.
Don't mind me, just a noob learning :D

I know this is not completely related to this. and I feel like such a noob for asking. but I cannot get my electric pumps to turn on. tried to highlight everywhere. nothing comes up saying use or turn on

its suppose to do that like it dose with teir three when i use the small big eletric water pump.

theres a red switch on them you gotta point right at it (on the big water pump its just to the left of the cable plug in spot)
