digging gold with friends neeed
if the DEV TEAM would allow people to mod this then we could have some fun with this game that isnt the same 4 machines over and over untill we need to do a cleanout then repeat till your board.
this game COULD be great but it becomes a pain in the @$$ to get the dirt from far in the plot to the larger machines because you have to vehicle hop to drive 30 seconds then hop back and oh look im bored again.
its not that they cant add multiplayer, they just wont because they are lazy and i 100% believe the devs absolutely ignore this post, i dare a dev to respond to this.
Other people are already trying, but something about this game brings you back. does not even have to be multiplayer could be co-op 4 player as you would do that in a group. This game has been a huge success, But I hope one day you'll do a multiplayer version as the refinement you've already gone to shows it's possible just not in this game.
If the developer even reads this thanks for all your efforts so far and I hope you keep making amazing updates, but please one day consider a 4 player or multiplayer mining game as it's possible for you to do!
I am a business owner and operator and sure as there is day light in the world I would out of business if I ignored my player base and just gave them poor excuses and small tokens to placate them.
I'm not sure why there isn't real good response from the developers it is sounding like the majority of the people who PAYED for a game are asking for advancements and the only thing your crew is happy with is the fact your releasing it on counsel.
What is going to be the reasoning when the player base on counsels asks for the same things or more. Another chance to advance and it will be dropped by the way side and ignored.
Why ignore... Because they already HAVE their money why care if they get repeat customers or even a positive review about their choices. It may be a couple of mucky mucks in a office who never even played a game making the decision saying it's for the share holders or what not.
Simply put you are going to loose more than you gain from the poor management of your services. Charge a monthly fee for server use, Let select modders go into the game and help or just have them develop some new and fun things for the game. why turn a blind eye and just say no.
Poor business choices, It comes off as a big corporate slap like ALL the other big dogs... Hang on even the small dogs in the gaming industry use or even encourage mods to enhance and make game play more fun.
Doesn't really matter whats said here. they've been paid so they don't care and have the same reasoning as always. sad i deleted it already and won't be a buying the counsel version for my kid who did enjoy it until he got bored because was doing ALL the work.
I've waisted to much time venting here and in my heart i am very positive they won't read it after and take anything away just another dollar bill complaining
I dont know if this is the simple version.
Copy DIABLO 3 STYLE multiplayer.
Mega chat of online players. If you want to join their game they can invite you.
The benefit of the online chat is that it would allow help for others who have questions. it would just require mods or improvements incase of bots.
and yes, i am a dev. however instead of being part of a company that never released any games in its lifetime, i am now doing this solo. it has taken me 2 months to get a skeleton to a model that didn't have a skeleton, and get animation and code working for it. within that 2 months i've also worked on world development, and other models. but now that i know what im doing, progress will probably be a lot quicker
we all have had interest in this game to be multiplayer, but sometimes you all have to step back and look at the bigger picture. i caught a post where they had said that the game was coded in unity. after reading that, i cannot blame these devs for not wanting to make the game multiplayer as it is very tough to make a game multiplayer once it has been finished and in its final form with unity.
so please be nice to your fellow devs. we play games just as much as you do, and enjoy what we do, but also hate it at the same time. oh man... game design is stressful. i have a sheet of drywall sat next to my work area so i don't punch holes in my wall
peace
