The question is, which is more efficient?
Just started out so this really sucks.
edit: i do not have any loans, I will check the bank to make sure something isn't bugged there.
Are you sure you are not cleaning up gold after the daily report comes out in which case it carries over to the next daily report?
You should be better off paying in ore as if you already smelted you'll have a bigger loss of gold in the smelting process and a higher cost to do so than smelting what you have left over after their cut has been taken. Not a massive deal money-wise early on in the game though.
No, I don't believe it is carrying over to the next day. Gold in my possession goes to 0.0 as the day comes to an end. So I've gotten in to the habit of smelting everything by 0:30 as to not lose anything but several grams instead of dozens or hundreds.
If it is some how carrying over to the next day I do not know how that would be represented as not a loss, as i am not smelting the ore i lose and it simply is no longer available to smelt, at that point.
As it happens, i didn't have that much so he took it out in cash which amounted to only 20k.
So i think, the answer to this question is deffinatively: cash is more effiencient.
Either way it's almost close enough not to matter which way you do it.
