Using a controller

Sorry y'all I'm clueless when this stuff is concerned. So I bought a PC controller as I thought it would be easier to play the game. It's installed the drivers but how can I make it usable in the game?

Hi there. Good Decision to use a Ctrl. If u use Win 10 OS. X-Box One Ctrl. works fine. In Mainmenu go to Options >> Settings >> Controls

For myself: I use X-Box One Ctrl. @ Win 10 and it works great.

If this won´t work go to Client Options >> Settings >> Controller.

Wha kind of controller?
Think there is a software on steam called controller companion or something if the game does not support your controller out of the box.

Helped a friend once a few years ago. Software like this does not work very well in most games. Get xbox controller, or a controller supported by the game you play. Most support xbox

If the movement and control of vehicles was not separated we could have acontroler capable of movement and control at the same time, like the real vehicles...

Will save you hassle for sure. And work better, and out of the box with 99.9% of games that supports controller

Or a logitech that also emulates X-box controller. I got an older logitechF510 works like a dream.

I use a PS-style Logitech controller and it works well. But I use it only for digging with the excavator (2 thumbsticks), rest is keyboard and mouse.

it should automatically detect it, if not then u may have an issue. i use the xbox controller and have to manually select drivers and so on to get it working, there are videos on utube to resolve my issue , as urs is a pc controller i dont know but good luck...

I have an Xbox controller but it is paired with the computer but not usable

With a xbox one controller it should just be plug and play if you have windows 10

It shold be plug and play but i've always had to go into my device settings on the control panel and manually select the driver...this is a common problem but there are videos on how to do it...
