2nd way was to have a smaller flat surface(with BD on it already, fuelled and probably fuel tanker- learn from my mistake) and using digger ,carve the entire face down to bedrock so it has a cliff type look- this gives you area to push the dirt you move..then BD just short of the cliff and push the dirt you move off the side, reverse half length or so past where you started and go again...the cliff will disappear and a slope will emerge ,until finally you have something you can drive nicely down and up
Things to avoid while making slope
Driving on a non processed area with one track, can dig blade into ground and rip up area already done
Not having sufficient area to push dirt as you create slope
Try not to fall off your cliff by going to far (not once but multiple times) - can be an issue to get BD back up,have a second rough area to drive back to where you working
Don't release blade down key - slope is only created when holding key down - blade key released just makes flats
No idea if doing any of this loses some of your gold
rough out angle with loader or excavator.
using keys (controllers can move the blade slightly and give bad results.)
lower the blade to the flat setting at the just before the bottom of the ramp and tap the blade up key 3 times.
rough out the ramp, fine tuning the blade height as needed.
you can lower the blade once the tracks are fully on the ramp To get the flatter surface (be very careful as you can do a lot of damage when you dig into the ramp)
