Tier 3
Hello, I just advanced to Tier 3 and I find that I can not generate more gold than with the Tier 2, for example, if with two buckets in tier 2 together 40oz, with tier 3 among the 8 mats, the four buckets, etc, I do not get more than 20oz, is this normal?

since we dont know the diff and if you have drilled or what claim you are on its 50/50 you was on a hot spot then move away ( or if on a claim that isnt OA you have around 3-7meters of overburden to clear). i know from my T3 setup ( 1 grizzly bar bucket, 12 moss mats, 8 hog pan mats, 4 jig buckets) i avg 80oz to 110oz cleanouts but that is on OA

I always try to find the best place to get gold, although the map sometimes marks a place with different numbers, but I always get more gold with Tier 2, it's strange

Are you sure you have completed the setup? How many buckets do you need per clean-out? You should have 10:

- 4 sluicebox grates in the large sluicebox leading to the trommel. These fill 1 bucket per clean-out (the best one).

- 2 x 6 (total 12) miner's moss in the sluiceboxes just below the trommel. These fill 3 buckets per clean-out.

-Then you get the 4 buckets (2x2) under the duplex jigs.

- Then you get the hogpans (2), which each fill another bucket.

I checked it a second time and it seems that now it is complete, but for some reason, the dump truck does not lift and I can not throw the earth

sounds like you broke a piston on the dump truck (drivers side)

its sounds like you are missing the 4 grates on the long sluss that feeds the trommel - thats where your BIG gold is - and where the most generation is . Unless you have a worker who clears it out at 100% you have to physically go into the sluss and TROW it out each grate - 2 trows per grate into a bucket (which they give you a slot for)

Ready, fix the problem that I needed some grids, but things improved when I rented the second plot.

Honestly I think the price of the second plot is a little high, being that you earn very little with tier 2 to reach the second plot or get all the objects for tier 3, there are only two ways that you can borrow from the bank in many quotas or rent everything and try to generate as much gold as possible so as not to lose so much when it comes to paying the rent, etc.

And maybe you made the mistake to buy the plant in summer where the prices are high.
I kept my T2 on Arnolds until winter of the first season (S2) then I had enough money to buy the T4 (skipped T3) with dumptruck and the conveyor belt (from T3, not the Frank). But in summer I bought the big excavator and beginning of winter the bulldozer for ripping frozen ground.

At that time a trick worked where you could stockpile your paydirt (after running it through the magsep) in around 35 buckerts, begin to pan them (with wavetabe) at morning, smelt the gold, sell the gold bars and buy the caim on same day and you won't get charged by the owner (so I didn't had to pay the claim rent). You can try it out (with a new save), if it doesn't work then reload the first save and run the wavetabe again but you smelt one day later (ese you have to pay smelt costs for that part which the owner gets).

Tbh, right now I think the plot prices and gold concentrations are just about right. There is plenty enough gold on Old Arnold to progress in a number of ways, even on hard mode. It just takes time to mine it all. Right now I've got the full T3 setup (incl. dumptruck, hopper/conveyor, large ex, dozer and FEL). I skipped T2 altogether - the hogpan parcel yielded just enough to start with just a basic T3 (shaker, trommel, duplex jig and FEL). I stuck with that until I'd saved up enough for the hoper/conveyor and dumptruck. Next I saved up for the large ex, at which time I parked the FEL to mostly use the large ex instead...

I've now got enough in the bank to buy the next claim but there is still about 30% of OA left to mine. Which leads to options:

1. move straight to Rivertown and stop paying rent
2. Mine out OA and see if I then have enough to buy the next (better) claim instead of Rivertown.
3. Mine out OA and see if I then have enough to buy Rivertown AND upgrade to T4...
etc.

I like that the game isn't too easy but at the same time doesn't restrict you to just one linear progression path.

I understand, I will put into practice everything they have told me and I will start a new game because I already got a bit of cheating haha.

Normally I go from the first moment with the big excavator, it is faster filling the washing plant of tier 2, is this fine or is the small excavator better? and when is the best time to sell gold?
