Better Shovel or bigger buckets?

Hey there. I'm trying to earn money for my first big machines, but well, after using the shovel on my Hog Pan for several hours now, I really would like to know if there is any way to move dirt easiert into the Hog Pan.

I tried using the buckets, but they're allready full after 2 1/2 Shovels. So no real help.
Next prob is, that I digged out so much dirt that I now have to walk everytime between the Hog Pan and the Dirt Pile.

I hoped for some Mod for a bigger Shovel or buckets with more capacity, but there are no mods so ... do I really have to keep feeding the Hog's in Slow mo until I can purchase the big stuff?

Or is there some sort of trick or tip how to use Hog Pans?

(I'm allready using the one with the pump, so it's all about the dirt, not the water)

Fastest way I have found to do things is save up enough to buy the mobile wash plant outright, and to buy both a genny and a second pump as well as hoses, cords and the filter. Then making sure i have enough to rent the big excivator for a day or 2 then do that. Typically you shpuld only need 20-30K to get started depending on how much of a safety margin you want.

If you want to skip the MWP and jump right into T3 well.....your going to be there a good long time digging then.

Ya found out that I can rent stuff .. well. Let's just forget that I ever asked *cough*

I'm using the MWP and the small Exca at the moment, but I really need to switch to the big one. The small one's capacity is a pain in the Angine.

Tier 2... buy 2 mobile wash plants and set them side by side. Use a big excavator to fill them up together at the same time. It's actually good profit because you can put the wash plants anywhere you choose. You can put them right on top of the ground fill them with the gold beneath you.

In my first game i detected after some hours of using the shovel that the option "always run" is a must have to be efective with the shovel.

Yes there is. I play the german language version, so i hope i translate the path to find the option right:
Settings -> Keyboard+Gamepad-> 3. Line there is the Option

(I think the devs have listened to you guys. I will not spoil your search but I will tell you there is a bigger shovel! You have to find it. It fills a bucket in 1 scoop!
I will say though: You can find it on Old Arnold claim, and not in the hogpan area.
That should help you a tiny bit. (I now eliminated 1% of the search area because I am that nice.) )
There is however a little issue... The showel is "normal" again the next time you start your game (load). I do not know why. Bug?

Saw Armour's Nail comment and I think it was a bug. It did indeed fill buckets in 1 scoop so I used it for my first cleanup of hogpan area and it was very fast. 3 scoops filled the hogpan. But now when I load it does not anymore. Sorry guys. Probably not what it does. No bigger shovel for us.

found the shovel and the easter egg related to it and tthe shovel does not fill a bucket in one scoop ... why you lie?

Thanks for the correction Armour's Nail. I was just so excited when I tested it. When picking it up I assumed it may be different shovel so that was the first thing to test and when it indeed worked differently I assumed it would continue to do so. It did not.
