how to dig more dirt from hog pan dig site ?

Shovel it is ,I found setting up multiple standing buckets then dig and fill 10-15 at a time..run them over and stack em in rows beside hog pan ready. Rinse and repeat til every bucket and the hog pan are full .Turn on water and let hog pan drop to 30% ish,whichever doesn't over fill it ,throw empty buckets into the pit to be stacked and filled again(throwing saves walking- its like a flick motion with mouse and release as you spin round).As HP moss fills up, stop water, dunk mosses in one water filled bucket and place to the side or in back of ute- always separate from dirt so no mistakes are made..fill buckets ,stack ,run dirt , clean up...each time you lose a bucket as it gets gold dirt in it. Once your bucket supply starts to get low - go clean your gold to reset.
This way you move more dirt manually with hopefully least amount of running back and forward. Either clean out the whole patch or do just enough to buy your L/Digger(skip small one) or F/Loader . Best target is no bank loan ,buy OAs soon as possible to save on lease/bank loans

I fill only the highbanker (correct name for the HP with pump and extender) until it's close to full (a full shovel equals to 11 %), start the pump and then continue filling until highbanker is empty (I run the last shovel then) and stop the pump to save fuel.
I don't use the buckets because they are sometimes bugged, the dirt doesn't fall at all into the bucket, a part lands next to the bucket and you get bumps (and tipped buckets). So I run around like a squirrel on extasy but I save the handling of the buckets.

You can also get more (the other "more", not "more at once" like in the opener post) out of the HP area if you dig the invisible dirt (under the bottom and around the edges), you can also crouch to get deeper. May be interesting for hardmode if time doesn't matter but you want to get as much as possible out of the HP area.
