Upcoming DLC and future discussion
So after 10 in game days, and playing since the update, I have 2 million in cash, the full wash plant, and i stocked up for the update to upgrade to all the new equipment. In regards to the current state of the game I feel a couple things need to be implimented in the future.

-Larger excavator, the 400 is fine and works well for tier 2 and the beginning of tier 3, but it takes 10 scoops to fill a rock truck. We need a 700 excavator or something of that caliber in order to fill the rock truck in 4 or 5 buckets. I understand the front loader can fill the truck in 4 scoops, but not every cut can be dug up with it.

-Moveable sluices/wash plants, something from the show like Sluicifer or Big red should be in the game, allowing us to set up a cut and move the wash plant around. With the mobile wash plant in game, the technology is there, just increase the scale of it. Having one of these plants cost what the real world estimate cost would, could give players a top teir goal to work towards. The upcoming DLC would allow the game to play just like one of Parker's claims. A single person truly running a wash plant to its greatest efficiency.

Couple questions for mods or anyone.
Are more modern machines going to be part of upcoming updates/DLC?

Will the future of the game include any sort of journal that has daily progress on it? I like the daily summary, but being able to see patterns and trends in our gold gathering would be interesting.

Thank you, hopefully wont spark some kind of argument.

I would like to have a 700 excavator in a future dlc package. However, I would also like to have a current front loader such as the CAT 980K. This all could be a big dlc package with other machinery and tools etc for even 10 bucks and I would pay for it. I know that as of right now the main goal is to continue squashing bugs and that does take forever but keep in mind to keep adding equipment so the game doesn't become stale.

Yes, a 700 excavator would be awesome or at least a bigger scoop for the 400 excavator.
I'm at day 39 and I've spent 6.653 Million of Dollars so far and still need 2.738.500 Million of Dollars for the new equipment.

I think some more modern machinery to take us into the new age of gold mining would be interesting. As far as things go, save for joystick controls in the excavator, we're stuck as poor gold miners using old machines. If i was pulling 1600oz of gold from the ground i wouldnt be using a dinosaur of a front loader or an excavator that took 10 scoops to fill my rock truck. An empty wash plant makes no money.

That's the reason why they have implemented the Frankenstein machinery to the game (needs the DLC to be unlocked). This way you are able to work with the big washplant in the same way like with T2.

I would also like to see a bigger excavator in the game, and as for newer machines check out the upcoming DLC, there is some newer machines included with that. http://store.steampowered.com/app/773500/Gold_Rush_The_Game__Frankenstein_Machinery/

As for the daily progress journal im not to sure, but if something like this was to be added it will probably be quite a while until it is.
