Gold Yield WAY Down.

Previous to the patch Yesterday I was getting around 1oz per bucket. Using Small Excavator, Mobile Plant, Mag Sep, and Wave. Now, using the same equip in the same pit, I'm getting around .175 - .250

I imagine this is from the addition of the hot spots. The total finite gold per claim wasn't adjusted so everything is more concentrated to certain areas.

This is fine. It's great in fact since it's closer to real world. The problem is we still don't have the drill to test and find these areas. Probably should have reversed the order in which these features were implemented.

Anyway, any suggestions on what to do? Do I just keep moving my setup until I find better yields?

Same here, same setup as you have and i was digging same area, i even tried my old area where i was getting at least 1 oz per bucket on the first claim. I fill up 22 buckets each time and the last 2 cleanouts i was only able to get a little over 8 ozs which is very pathetic imo. Im gonna try 1 more area then maybe switch to the second claim and see if any better.

I used to get about 30 to 34ozs for 22 buckets, last 2 times i got was a little over 8 :(

20 Buckets only got me around 3.5-4oz my last dig. I'd be happy with 8.

I thought I was doing something wrong. Same problem, dropped from 20+ per clean up to under 10

i like the idea and concepct and even before this was implimented there were varances in profit but it still typically came out about 11-12 oz per 10 buckets sometimes it was 8-10 case in point keep this just tweak itdevs,it makes the game better i feel

I've been using T3, with a front end loader. PRE yesterdays patch, the moss mats got to 100% before the first bucket hit 50%, now buckets are 100 and 70%, moss mats at 40%. The full bucket only yielded 5 oz, down from 12-15 oz pre-patch.

Dug on 6 different pockets on Old Arnold, best yield I had was 0.5oz per bucket. As low as 0.2oz

+1: I am using tier 2 with a big excavator and two washplants. I was getting 1 oz per bucket average pre patch and now that has been reduced by 2/3rds. I get .200 to .350 mean. Out of 20 buckets maybe one or two get closer to 1oz but that's it.

I do like the idea of drilling but when you are Tier2 you only have so many options. Especially since the wheel loader is so underpowered.

Yesterday, before the patch i was diggin on a Hill and halfway down.
T3 Washplant was ready for cleanout. Moss an Buckets at 100% and i got 50-60oz like usual on this spot. Noticed, that the patch went live and saved/closed the game, patched it, and started again. At the same Hill, I digged from half way down to the bottom and noticed, that the Moss goes very slow up but Buckets are quick full. Some time later T3 was ready for cleanout.
2 Buckets from 100% Moss and 4 Buckets from the Jig at 100%.
Buckets from Moss went direct into Wave Table, Buckets from Jig went throu Magnetite Seperator and then throu Wave Table. Summary was at 16 oz.
Day Summary after sleeping till Morning was 16.103 oz.
