Can't shovel dirt ------- SOLVED

So damn buggy. I can shovel in enough dirt to get to 100% 1 time (using just the hog pan no pump and sluice box core) After I rinse it 3 times it goes back to 0% like it should but then I can't shovel up any more dirt with out exiting the game (after saving) and restarting. Last time even that didn't work. Can't believe all the bugs I've seen in videos and playing myself that this is a released game, seems like it should still be Alpha. Here's hoping the patches come fast and furious....

nothing wrong with mine......Im on tier 2 .....so what exactly is going wrong ? is it freezing up ?
in tier one, I would rinse a mat 3 times in the one bucket then pan

Dont you guys ever read? xD

He cant fill up his hog pan with paydirt,its stuck at 0%.
He has to restart the game to fill it up again,
but it seems even that will not work anymore.

Exactly, the shovel just goes into the dirt but doesn't pick any thing up. At least I can use bucket and pan, only one piece of gold at a time that way, very slow going but managed to get 1/4 oz this way.

Now a question, is there a minimum size for gold bars? How much before melting it is better than just selling ore?

I took 1/4 oz to blacksmith, SAVED GAME (this is key before anything in this game) then had it crafted into gold bar. Couldn't sell it at bank. Reloaded a few times and nothing. Reloaded again and just sold ore to blacksmith.

So is there a minimum the bank will buyt?

(This makes Spintires look the least buggy game ever....LOL)

Already paid my money.... For me Spintires was one of the most relaxing, mindless games to play. Looking forward to seeing what they do with Mudrunner, so many hours have just flown by in Spintires without realizing it. Hoping to do MP Spintires too.

I was hoping this game could be another game to just play and get lost in but the bugs are making it a lot harder than necessary....

Ok I figured out the shovel issue, I didn't know when doing key binding that the LMB was already bound to dig the dirt. So I figured (wrongly) that I needed to use the "action" key to dig, seeing nothing bound to the mouse buttons I bound "action" to the LMB.

Not a good way to go, the shovel when it did work wouldn't stop, as soon as you emptied it into the hogpan it would try to dig dirt then dump it, then dig then dump until you smashed the right combination of LMB - RMB to stop it then maybe you could start the pattern all over which eventuallly got me to the point where the shovel stabbed the dirt and would come up empty over and over and..... So I bound it to my thumb button (set to middle button) and the digging commenced as it should.

Then I looked up and saw I had 100oz of gold and hadn't rinsed a single mat yet... WTF I think...

To make a long story longer I came here found out about the damn $$$ and Gold cheat, which I didn't want to use but did because I saved a game with GOLD in the name!!

WTH did I waste all this time digging and pouring water in the hogpan for? So now I'll have to start a new game with all these hours just wasted.

Cheats are fine if someone wants them, just don't make them so freaking easy that you can cheat by accidentally saving your game with a magic word like GOLD in a Gold minning game!

C'mon Mudrunner........

dont get your hopes up with an Early Access Game the Dev's might or could walk over everyone's save file by add a large patch that resets (incompatable) save files
there is no end-game for gold-rush just grind for no reason

Mudrunner is the same as spintyres, there should have been a free patch for spintyres, but no some-one had to squezze the chicken

Spintires has a new publisher, that's why it's not just a patch and it's a new game with a new name. No more Ovee. Hopefully this is going to be a good thing....

You reconfigured your mouse buttons before playing?

I always recoconfigure the controls of any game before. I never use WASD...
