thats because you have to press "m" which opens the map

They removed it in the last patch.

I saved a game with the word gold in it not realising it was a cheat. i then panned gold and looked at my count. I was like yeay i've just found a nugget worth 100 oz. a few days later i found out the truth lol. Karma got me though, i had to restart the game
so it's all good :)

I just love how certain types crawl out of the woodwork when 'cheats' are mentioned and then pass judgement on those who choose to use them. "You low life scum, using cheats!! You should play the way I want you to play!" Or better yet..."You low life scum, using cheats!! You should play the way the game was intended!" Well, if the game has a built in cheat code...I sorta guess they intended people to use it eh??

Some people dont want to know how to cheat in a game the fun is to work for things you want to have.

Guys the money cheat has been removed with the last patch. The gold cheat still works.

You also can change the sav file in the savegame map

first make hidden folders viewable.
open your username folder
go to the following folders

AppData\LocalLow\CodeHorizon\GoldRushTheGame\Saves\

Now open the folder with of your savegame

Now open the CheckpointData.sav

Select seach programm from list.

Now find notepad and select notepad. WARNING deselect the checkbox: always open file with this programm

Now open search with CTRL+F

Type in: key="Cash" and search

Go down one line where you can change the value for money

Go down a few more lines and there you see the amount for gold

Save the file and close.

Now the amounts have been changed in the game.

PS i only use the cheats for testing. I have a second save where i play the game from the beginning without cheats.

Why is it pointless this way. When there is a new update/fix i load my second save and use the cheats to. Just to test the new patch.

I like to play the game without bugs so i first test it with a second save and use the cheats to buy new things so i can test it without first having to spend hours to mine for gold.

When i know that it works i load my own save so that i can play the game without cheats and the fear that something does not work or crashes.

So it is not pointless to use cheats but very usefull. Also when i find a bug in my second save i can report it on the forum before i F*** UP my good save.
