About magnetite
I never see this material concerned in the tv show....They just dump the tailing and forget about it. Is this something miners really collect to sell?

Someone educate me please.

Magnetite is the black sand in the pan at the end of a wash. It is close'ish to gold in weight and it is magnetic. Not as magnetic as iron.

After u seperate the dirt with the mag seperator u can pour the waste into the magnatite trailor and sell it at the factory. Gives u about 10k for a full trailor of waste

TLDR for that? :p

Ive kind of assumed it was the black material that we see most often in Tony's pans, I think its due to his spinwheel way of seperating the gold and dirt(due to last season seeing it in both pans from the dredge and the washplant). Tony just adds it in to his gold total though, Id be very interested in if this has any actual value or if it even is magnetite that Tony has.

Because of its very high iron content which goes up to 72,4% and its magnetism, Magnetite is one of the most important iron ore and raw materials for the electrical industry.

It's the black sand they are always on about.

Its even easyer ... dig a small hole, fill it with empty buckets, take your excavator and dig some dirt onto the buckets ... it should fill about half of the buckets , take the full ones and load them in your pickup then fill the hole back up with empty buckets.... you get about 10k per full trailer (10 buckets)... with the cargo trailer you i bet you can carry 100 buckets to the factory =100k per run

If you just fill mag-trailer with dirt you wont get 10k! Run through mob-wash first.

you CAN see this on the show just not so much anymore since they have multiple ppl to follow now, if you watch like the 2 or 3 season i believe when its mostly surrounding the hoffmans, youll see when Thurber and Jack are doing the cleanups its the red machine oscilating up and down, thats seperating this stuff, you can also see this in bering sea gold when they use the spinwheel and other forms, it is almost always there you just doent see these shows do gold cleanups anymore

According to this site:
https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/magnetite-prices.html

They sell Magnetite powder for $0.45 -$0.50 a kg (for powder).

So probably less than that to sell to them :P

For me, I focus more on the Magnetite than gold in tier 2, before I got all the parts and machinere for tier 3. Its way easy to get 10k a day from that, then 10-15 buckes of paydirt. Thats how I make money for upgrades to tier 3.

According to Mineralminers.com, magnetite costs $2.50 per pound.

These natural magnetite specimens contain at least 85% massive magnetite with minor accessory minerals. Each of these natural iron ore mineral specimens has such a high concentration of magnetite that a magnet will actually stick to its surface! We have these natural magnetite specimens available in bulk in sizes weighing from 2 pounds up to 20 pounds each, with a minimum order of 40 pounds.

These natural magnetite pieces are ideal for metaphysical uses. They also are great as iron ore mineral specimens and as natural magnetite specimens. They can be broken up into smaller sizes for very inexpensive classroom study samples and scientific use.

Magnetite is best known for its property of being strongly attracted to magnets. Some forms of Magnetite from specific localities are in fact themselves magnets. Commonly known as Lodestone, this magnetic form of Magnetite is the only mineral that is a natural magnet.

Due to the magnetism of Lodestone, small iron particles are often found clinging to its surfaces. (Some dealers may even intentionally place metallic filings on a Lodestone to demonstrate its magnetism.)
