FPS Rises Up and down at all in H3VR
I have issue with my game. Every time i'm starting it, FPS is dropping and going up every second. It's hard to play like this, even if FPS is okay, but it feels really strange and uncomfortable to play. MS drops from 9ms to 11ms for no reason, and I've tried to play WITH mods or WITHOUT, it still lags.
- Windows 11
- Valve Index
- Ryzen 5 5600x, RTX3070TI, 32GB RAM
- NO Beta
- SSD
- I'm not using virtual memory
- 300GB
- I have, but even without mods it still happens
- I had

So, I don't know how to fix it, because it's really annoying to see how FPS rises up and down every second. :(

This is likely a WIndows 11 issue. Some folks based on hardware config have this issue. Others don't. If you search for 'Windows 11 VR performance' online you can find tons of folk complaining about it. My best suggestion is to revert to Windows 10 until Valve somehow fixes this.

Oh wait, I just noticed. You're trying to run at 144hz. Have you tried dropping down to 90hz to see how the game runs? Running at and holding 144hz usually requires an utterly absurd machine. H3 will only run at that framerate with settings turned very far down.

The problem is that I've tried even 75 Hz (by some programs), but it still gives me bad performance, when EVERY game for VR are works normally with 144. I think the problem is in game, or in SteamVR program. Any ideas why this game gives tons of lag while other games workds normally?

I do not. I have asked the folks behind SteamVR this, and it is apparently a driver issue with Win 11 + 3000/4000 series GPUs and some games. It is 'being worked on', but no timetable. There's no advice I can give right now other than to swap back to Win 10.
Alright, thank you!

I'm on Win 10, and with/without mods I still get the same problem. Almost same PC specs.

Make sure you have Vsync force-disabled for the game in your Nvidia Control Panel.
