Schofield is actually Fan Firing
https://youtu.be/LUgXYFaws64

I noticed a moment when I got the record in my Cowwiener Calico run my Schofield rapid fired at one point which isnt suppose to. Upon goofing around I found out the Schofield can have the Hammer Fanned by holding the triggers first while the hammer is dropped and when you hold the trigger and push down on the touch pad and let go it Thumb Fans the hammer. I'm pretty sure its not suppose to do that.

Well, it basically acts as if you're fanning the hammer regardless since IIRC Schofields are double action so this is "feasible" but mechanics of the game make it hilarious because the hammer "trigger" I think is just a 1/0 so there isn't (I don't think when it comes to pulling back the hammer manually) a state inbetween which would prevent this in otherwords

Would this work with all double action revolvers then?

It wouldn't surprise me, mechanically speaking of course

If not...then it may be a singularly schofield problem, in which case, yeah, that'd be a bug for sure

I guess its kinda like slam firing the trench gun, but in revolver form

Yes and no? Yes in that's how the mechanics work, no in that with the pump action shotguns there are animation states between slide back and forth

with pulling the hammer back, while we SEE an animation to pull it back there is no fine adjustment of it, so it's either "on" or "off" and that is what I think is causing this rather interesting little feature (if I'm explaining it correctly) to fan fire a double action single handedly

The bug also allows you to fire much faster than fanning a capable revolver in the same way (compared to, say, the SAA), and you can fire all six rounds pretty much instantly if you tap the button. AFAIK it's only the Schofield that's effected, possibly related to an earlier change that removed the ability to fan it manually
