Loading stripper clip into C96 Mauser machine pistol

Not sure if this is a known bug. Tried searching the forum but didnt see anything about this.
I've watched Anton's "H3VR Tutorial #3 Automatic Handguns" a dozen times and he makes loading the C96 Mauser look so easy. I can load the various magazines into the C96 with no problem, but the stripper clip doesnt want to work. I can get the clip to sit in the top of the gun, but am unable to push the bullets down into the gun. The vive controllers are giving the proper feedback that the contact point is hitting the bullet/clip, but they wont budge. I'm not having any trouble loading the other clip based rifles.

I just noticed that i'm trying to load C96 Mauser clip into a M712 Mauser. Is that the reason? The clip is showing up on the M712 page as a potential ammuntion to spawn

Yes, that was the problem. I just successfully loaded the C96 Mauser clip into the C96 Mauser as easily as Anton demonstrated in the tutorial. It is the M712 that wont accept the clip.

You need to put an empty magazine onto the M712 before you can feed the clip in, otherwise the rounds would just fall down its empty magwell and onto the ground.
