Windows Mixed Reality problems...
I've recently bought the game and unfortunatly using the WMR, headset and handsets.

The problem i'm having is that when i pick up an item the item decides to spaz and fly all other the place... is there a way to stop this and just be able to pick it up?

Are you on a laptop? Are you positive you have your HMD connected to a port your dedicated GPU _can use_, and have confirmed the game is actually running from it?

No, For the scond question I think I do, because it was working fine then it started spazzing, how can I confirm its running from my GPU

If you're not on a laptop, may I ask what your system spec is?

If it was working at some point, but is now spazzing out, something else about your setup/drivers/etc. must have changed.

Hrm...... only thing I can think is that the Quadro is causing issues due to different drivers? Are you positive your HMD is plugged into it and NOT a slot on your motherboard?

Oh wait... i just looked your GPU up. It's _significantly_ below the min spec required by the game. A K2200 is equivalent to like... 560/570.

Thats weird though because it was working smoothly before

Might have been which scene you had loaded (some are much cheaper to draw). Might be your quality settings. Might also be thermal throttling (meaning your earlier run was before your gpu heated up). No idea honestly.

I just got a Windows mixed reality hmd also for free with my new laptop so I tried using it on my Desktop which I know can definitely run h3vr because I played it on both the vive and rift on this desktop for over 20 hours this month, but with WMR I just cannot grab ANYTHING, everything I grab will fly away just like what the OP is describing. I am thinking its probably because of the WMR and the way it tracks, but I've seen a lot of other people playing fine. I switched back to my Rift and it works like it should.... Its definitely frustrating to say the least

The only thing I can recommend is trying different orders of firing things up (SteamVR, the WindowsMR for SteamVR app, then the game). We have one of the Acer headsets but have never experienced this type of bug-out, and can't repro it. I have no idea how to even debug the issue, considering that some users are saying things are just fine.

Questions:
1. When using the windows MR headset, is it plugged into a video port _on_ the gpu. (and not the motherboard).

2. Does the wrist menu open? If so, does it show up where the hand is?

I'll try to change up the opening sequence.

Its plugged directly into my AMD RX390 and yes the wrist menu opens up correctly and it is shown correctly. When I spawn the menu option board, I cant grab it without it throwing a hissy fit, so I have to go back to the beginning scene and change options from there.

So I just finished installing WMR on my new laptop and it works great, I can grab and everything..hmm....

What gpu does your laptop have? Perhaps this is a Driver issue of some kind?

laptop has an amd rx580

Ill just try and reinstall h3vr and see what happens

Is it possible to make an option for each controller so that not only do you get more money because it’s cross platform VR and the problem that everyone experiences with WMR will stop. Not telling you how to operate, just seems like a good idea.
