Modul mods make my game crash
I had 300 mod with modul ar mods. Tries to load and when 83% was cached it always crashed. Deleted modul ar and installed 28 more mods and the game loads in like a minute just fine (also 13 gbs freed up). Why is that mod so damn expensive when every single other modul mod works just fine?

Please ask for help in the modding channels of the discord. This forum is for the base the game, and is not where the modders hang out to do support.

for the base game: when i tried expirimental the new character was way too poorly balanced. Round 1 and 2 were unbearably slow with heavy reliance on melee, while was all about shooting the helmet instead of the visor. It would be really nice if concussions could kill and nvgs would be penned by anything

You do not have enough RAM, or fast enough RAM.

How much RAM do you have in your PC?

You can check in Task Manager under More Details>Performance>Memory.

I would recommend 3200mhz, 16GB of RAM minimum in order to play H3VR with mods. Mods are RAM munchers.
16 with 3200 speed. Mods (sometimes) only crash when i install modul ar ontop of 200 mods. i have a 3060 and when that mod`s installed my game starts stuttering like crazy

250-300 mods are the hard limit for 16gb of ram, if you want more mods you have to get an extra 16 gigs (which isn't a bad idea so long as you find an identical kit btw, ddr4 prices have gotten lower thanks to ddr5)

because modular is a massive mod. if you wanna use it and other big modul mods alongside everything else you either increase the size of your paging file (likely won't help much) or upgrade to 32gb ram. had the same problem as you with 16gb till i upgraded

if you have a mod that requires mag patcher make sure to onload your mods in chunks, just enable like 10-20 mods, let it initialize in the game, then close the game and repeat until all of you mods are loaded

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
