guns have no recoil
i understand that weapons wont jump to the sky when you shoot them but 98% of weapons just have too little recoil. I might be going insane but please let me know if you think the same

in reality guns don't have as high recoil as most games, in reality its still hard to properly hit something full auto with realistic recoil so that's where game balancing comes in, it replaces a lot of factors that make you hit less shots irl which can't be represented in a game with higher recoil, this is mainly due to the games being mouse and keyboard, but even pavlov has unrealistically high recoil for balancing reasons

As someone who has been firing Full Auto guns regularly for the past 8 years, I disagree. If anything, the recoil in the game errs on the side of too much (compared to what a trained shooter experiences).

I personally think the recoil is too much, more specifically, too quick and intense. if you fire an m60 for example with one hand in game, it jumps up and down with insane speed, however, if you see anyone on youtube do it, youll see the recoil is directed more backward and gets absorbed by the weight of the firearm and you. Anton has stated in the past when it comes to recoil: "The recoil system in the game is very far past final, and will not be changed."

it also depends where you hold the gun

if youre one handing it and using an AR like a pistol, recoil will be all over the place, if its in both hands and at your hip, recoil will be less, and if its shouldered, even less, to the point where its quite precise
unless you got tarkov pmc noodle arms even 12gauge shotguns won`t move much in your hand
