How do I interact with NVGs once equipped?
I can't seem to be able to lift them up like it was done in the video for the NVG update, nor can I take them off my head.

Try putting your controller right up to your headset and keep feeling around it until you get a vibration, from there you can hold B and yoink it off or press Y and lower/raise it

I frequently hit my headset trying to take off the NVG, so try to be careful when doing so

I don't get any haptic feedback, I honestly don't think I ever have in the game. Is there a setting for this?

Reach up towards your head and just hit buttons on the touchpad (or buttons) until something happened

Just tried that nothing worked (using Valve Index). Oh well, I'll have another attempt later.

For me, the "hotspot" is right above my forehead, but it did seem to be slightly more precise than I was expecting.

yes, Anton need to work on it because this is absoloutly suboptimal. One of the headsets googles i can not take down too.

So apparently on Quest it does work, but it's pretty precise. You have to grab it, move the thumbstick up and click it to toggle it up or down. If you use thumbstick locomotion like me, you have to turn movement mode off first on the respective remote. Honestly, I'd much prefer just being able to use the trigger to toggle it, or even being able to grab it and physically move it up or down would be even better for realism. It doesn't really need the advanced thumbstick controls (unless maybe to take them off entirely) since there isn't already a trigger input for it. I also wish I could have an option to allow using NVGs with scopes, because at the moment you can only use one or the other- unless there's already a setting for this, if there is please tell me :P

Ive found that trying to look down the scope of the NVGs and then moving it to your head works well

You can use Night Vision Goggles with scopes.
I just loaded up the Spooky .45 range, grabbed the default NVGs off the table, and slapped on the EVU 1-10x28mm on the AR-style rifle on the table. Works just fine. (Mostly, there is a small issue I want to post about.) I did have to make sure I placed the scope far enough forward on the rail, and pulled the stock all the way out to make sure I had room for the goggles.
Now, you can't point a thermal through a scope because of the glass.

recursive scope rendering does this

Yes, Scope Recursive Rendering needs to be set to at least 1 to see a scope view through an NVG.
