Going off, blasting all the XenoSosigs. Honestly, the chainsword would be the star of that show.
And I mean, I don't know why the lasgun wouldn't be able to exist. There is already a realistic directed energy weapon in the game. The lasgun is just an UNrealistic one of those.
The boltgun and heavy bolter would also be sooooooo sweet. If you could get the sound right, they would be so satisfying.
there is a mod that adds a boltgun, https://thunderstore.io/c/h3vr/p/Muzzle_Alt/Mk_Vb_Bolter/
AWESOME
But, see, this is the weird luck I have, that keeps me from ever modding this game. Every time someone points out a mod that I really want to try, it's coincidentally right after the game has received a main-branch update.
So I'm like "I'll put off even messing with mods until they get fixed, then install everything I've been meaning to try." Then I, like, procrastinate on that, all the way up until there's about to be another main branch push.
Edit: And if its a gun mod? Then theres almost no chance of it breaking the game
That's really dope. I think I will definitely finally be diving into mods, this time around.
youre really missing out, the community has REALLY snagged onto TnH 2.0, that being Supply Raid, a custom gamemode that is getting maps and characters made for it.
I just looked that up on the thunderstore page, and it looks SO FREAKIN' GOOD!
its quite fun! Though my main issue is map most people make (too fuggin big)
I was just now browsing around, and I also noticed that someone has added the Ross Rifle, along with a bunch of other non-repeaters. I have wanted the Ross Rifle in H3VR for so long.
the Helldivers 2 Liberator is also available to download
ehhh, i dont think so, WH40k weaponry tends to be rather blocky, where with Meat Fortress, theyre far too curvy and whatnot
Maybe the aesthetics don't mesh perfectly, but I think we're onto something with just the CONCEPT of a Team Fortress-Warhammer40k mashup.
I mean, who doesn't want to see a version of the TF2 Engineer as a Tech-Priest?
You'd think the Heavy would be a Space Marine, but I think it's funnier to characterize him as an Ogryn.
We could riff on this all day. I mean, at this point, it's entirely off-topic from H3VR, tho.
Canonically, Heavy is FAR too smart to be an Ogryn, having a PhD in russian literature and all.
Though i can see Pyro or Soldier as a Krieger
Maybe Pryo as the Krieger and Soldier as a Cadian?
Sniper getting a Tempestus Scion fit?
