Changing 'height'?

Hello. I've a few problems with picking stuff up off the ground, I'm well aware of the aim+grab usage, but i'd also just simply like to lean down and pick stuff up off the ground with VR anyways.


Can I change my height somehow? I use the Vive set-up.

Height modification must be done outside the application at the tracking-system level.

You can either redo your room setup so your height is correct (this can take a couple attempts), or you can use OpenVRAdvancedSettings to adjust it manually.

I've not had any luck with it using Vive's setup (always seems to be a few inches from the ground no matter what.)

also, when you are doing your room setup, try placing your controllers on the ground upside-down when doing that step!

or place a thick book/pizza box on the ground and placing your controllers on that during room setup.

So far no real luck without really shrinking myself in "VR" Height. It's probably a mix of my own body + my setup. But ill keep trying stuff, thanks
