Alternate mag pose only on handguns?

Would this be possible, I use an index and constantly clank my controllers together when reloading pistols or similar firearms and I definitely cannot be the only one doing this.

I find the alternate mag pose works great for pistols, but every other firearm it feels very cumbersome and janky to use.

Is an option to have a different alternate mag pose possible, or perhaps an option for it to only affect handgun magazines?
